    Infotainment Upgrade

Here is some info on the Infotainment upgrade and FSD installation. My 2016 MX is currently being serviced now and is having both systems upgraded. I was looking forward to the 250m front and 100m side cameras being be upgraded/installed (the 2016 model doesn't have side cams), but it doesn't...

    11Jul18 - 12V Model 3 Battery replaced @ 5890 miles (car only 5 mo’s old) 15Apr19 - Warning again saying “12V battery needs service - Replace 12V battery soon”. Software Update 2018.39.x (Version 9)

Has anyone resolved the "Surround vehicle display limited" message yet? It started showing after we did the software update in early November, 2018. We see this message on the display every time the car is driven. Took car into service center on December 6th. Was told they will order a new...

Supercharging costs discrepancies (Display vs Bill from Tesla)

I've noticed this too. Has anyone got an explanation from Tesla? Comment by siai47 makes sense. I have a difference of $0.11 and $0.33 more on CC bill from February Supercharger stops in WA (before the rate increase). I believe the rate was $0.11 then.

    Acceleration Shudder

Update to my Aug 3 comment: I've since remembered/noticed that my car was set to automatically raise the suspension to high at my home location, at the driveway entrance (I set this when I first got the car). Upon leaving home I recently noticed it still remained in the high raised suspension...

    Acceleration Shudder

I started having a front-end vibration or shudder occur after 12 mo's in my Model X under normal acceleration at 30-35 mph and at the standard height setting. Seems to be more pronounced when going up hills. At 27,000 miles I took it in to be serviced two weeks ago and they performed a...

Slower acceleration and vibration/loose parts? in front motor

I started having a front-end vibration or shudder occur after 9 mo's in my Model X under normal acceleration at 30-35 mph and at the standard height setting. Seems to be more pronounced when going up hill. I took it in to be serviced two weeks ago and they performed a suspension and powertrain...

    Dashcam Install by Calibred Customs

I had Johnny install my BlackVue DR650GW-2CH that I had purchased over a year ago. I thought of doing it myself and even bought some tools and connectors. I was concerned about breaking some trim panel tabs, and therefore put the job off. This summer I decided to get it done professionally. My...

bugs or setting issue about automatic opening charge door?

This has been happening to my X since early Feb (started happening after an update about that time). When in park and sitting in the car the charge door opens and closes every 2-3 mins in a repetitive cycle. I mentioned this to the service center during my recent visit and they replaced the door...

    Rear Tire Wear on XP90D

I too recently discovered (and not pleased) that due to the negative camber on the rear alignment the tires wear out on the inside edge faster than normal. I have a P90D Model X with 16k miles on the odometer in 9 months since new (with moderate to conservative driving, and yes, some occasional...

    Cracked Model X windshield

I appreciate the info and the post. Unfortunately I'm am also a recipient of a cracked windshield (June 27, 2016). It happened while driving 55mph in the slow lane (RH side) of a four lane paved road while on our Nebraska summer family road trip. From the very start I set out to be supper...

Founder Edition Model X visited us. [shots inside]

Thanks for posting the pictures. I'm considering having Ultimate XPEL done on mine. I'm also thinking of using the Stealth XPEL film on the shiny seat backs to prevent scratches and scuffing there. Is there a recommended period of time you need to wait after taking delivery of the factory car...

    Wheels. 20" or 22

Thanks for the discussion. I prefer the 20" wheels - More rubber, longer wear, and a better for option for weather and road conditions here in the NW.
