Tesla Model 3 Lease Buyout - My experience (Canada)

Hi all, I wanted to share my experience here of doing a dealership lease buy-out in Canada, as I hope it could benefit others in the future. Due to moving into the city and no longer needing two vehicles, I no longer could justify keeping my leased 2020 Model 3 purchased in Sept, 2020, SR+ in...

    M3 SR+ Lease

The residual value on my Tesla lease contract after 4 years is $25,516, and MSRP is $54,290 (SR+ with midnight silver paint) so that's 47% right? I put $2500 down + $2500 deposit + $5000 FED + $3000 BC rebate, 4.4% APR, and my monthly payment is $531/mo tax in.

    M3 SR+ Lease

The residual value for Tesla lease is around 46%, so with the $5000 FED + $8000 QC taxable incentive, and $2500 deposit, and an APR of 4.4%, the payment works out to roughly $493/mo including taxes in Quebec for the base SR+ with a 16k km/yr lease.

    FS: (Canada) 4 tires - $980CAD - Michelin Primacy MXM4 235/45R18 OEM Tires 8/32 100% tread

Hi, I sent you a PM regarding the price of shipping to Knoxville. If it weren’t for COVID, I’d just drive them across the border 30 mins from my house, but it’s closed right now, so international shipping costs a bit more.

    FS: (Canada) 4 tires - $980CAD - Michelin Primacy MXM4 235/45R18 OEM Tires 8/32 100% tread

Hi, I'm selling my OEM Michelin Primacy MXM4 235/45R18 tires taken off my 2020 Model 3 four days after delivery. They're in excellent condition, no damage or marks; I drive a lot in the early mornings and wanted to swap them for the Michelin Crossclimate+ for once we get frost & ice in the...

Model 3 Canada - Confirmed Orders Only thread

Delivery went off without a hitch. There was a small nick on the paint and it was repaired on site while I waited for ICBC. Can't tell anything was there after. Car was detailed, super clean, and super shiny. It was no issue to use private insurance through Stratford Underwriting for my...

    Insurance in BC

Usually getting replacement cost added to your optional insurance will be less expensive overall than these 3rd party providers. I've found it to generally go for $300-500 per year as an add-on endorsement. It's available as part of your optional insurance through ICBC, or private providers...

    Financing Tesla vehicles in Canada

The Tesla rates on their site are not accurate. See through the last few pages for the current rates but they’re in the 2.x% range. You’re unlikely to get better elsewhere. Telsa financing is done by either Scotiabank or RBC. If you approach Scotia on your own, they’d likely offer you...

    Electrician in Coquitlam

I used a company called “Electric Avenue” in Coquitlam for some other work around my house. They were professional, clean and efficient, but not cheap. I’d recommend them.
