I've not tried it yet but you can run Docker on a Raspberry Pi. Might be a cheap option?

It's server side for sure so nothing to do with the mobile app or the software version on the car. It's worth logging with Tesla so that they get the scale of the issue but I don't think they do anything practical to fix it.

This is just a guess but my lease is actually Salary Sacrifice and includes insurance. They might be restricting modifying the car eg. adding the acceleration boost for the LR so that there are no insurance worries. Like I say, just a guess but I've not given up yet.

My solution is for the built in YouTube app. Worked for me.

If you go to the PlexTV site, or any site where you can login using your Google account, you can login and you’ll get promoted for your password and 2 factor (if enabled). The next time you go to YouTube you’ll be logged in.

Strangely started working for me today. The only thing different about today is that I drove the car for the first time in a week. Didn't work before I left as I wanted to preheat the cabin. Worked every time since I got home.

From what I've read the car is woken from it's sleep over LTE by an SMS message. Whilst WiFi is off during sleep LTE is not as it uses much less energy. My simple assumption was that either the servers are not issuing the SMSs or the SMS server is broken.

Out of interest did you try and get this sorted with Tesla and/or Zenith? I think I might have a go.

I added a debit card to my account and they’re able to charge me OK even though the car doesn’t show up.

I've had a call from Tesla today asking for a time stamp so it sounds like they're gathering data.

Not an option on the Model 3 as far as I know.

Removed all USB devices, rebooted and left to go to sleep. Still not working here.
