    Blue-ish fluid leak

    The entire coolant system holds about 6 gallons from dry.. could be a cool line going to the front drive unit, but most likely it’s the coolant quick disconnect for the HV battery called the rapid mate. It has o-rings that will leak at times.

    One year service...worth it?

    Drive unit fluid exchange is part of the one year service. It is quite important as I have seen a good amount of swarf leftover, collected on the magnetic drain plug, and some fine unknown particulate dust in the fluid as well. It’s worth it for the peace of mind.

    Picked up X last night and...

    The issue with the o-ring on the front and rear expansion valves is one that has plagued the X since its inception, and continues to this day. It's quite bothersome for the consumer, but it's a very simple fix at the workshop. Other than that, the A/C systems are quite reliable. Enjoy your X!
