    Tesla will match Carmax price

Tesla matched the CarMax price for me a few months ago when I got mine. You have to do it no more than 7 days before getting the Tesla though.

Vendor Unplugged Performance Carbon Fiber Seat Backs

Turns out I didn't have the instructions and there was a bit more to installing these than I thought. Took about 15 minutes per seat, but they look great!

Vendor Unplugged Performance Carbon Fiber Seat Backs

I would hold off on buying these if you have the new Model S. I bought them and they don't line up right at the top for me. I'm waiting to hear back from the manufacturer about how to return these considering how much they cost!

Order Confirmed July 16 and Delivery Late Third Week of Aug

Mine was delivered by train to Chicago and took 2.5 weeks for transport. They said if it would have been by truck it would have been less than a week.

Is XPEL ok with all sensors

I had it done on June 1st. At least they told me a template wasn't available yet.

Is XPEL ok with all sensors

Since I had a refreshed Model S they did not have the template yet. They had to do the front end manually. Also, the TACC radar is behind the front end so they couldn't cut around it.

Is XPEL ok with all sensors

I had my new Model S wrapped by them a few weeks ago. I've noticed no problems with the sensors.

    Questions for Chicago Owners

I'm in the west suburbs. I used Kapital Electric for my outlet install because they were a Tesla-recommended installed. I got quotes from other private electricians but they were in the same ballpark (around $2k). Kapital Electric had the best plan of what to do though since it was a long run...

XPEL Wrap worth it, probably trading in 3 years

I did it but I also plan on keeping the car for longer than that. If I was going to trade it in after 3 years I probably wouldn't have done it. I'd probably look at just doing the front part of the car which would be significantly cheaper and will help with the stuff that commonly hits the front...

    XPEL Ultimate wrap cost?

XPEL has "rinse free" car wash stuff that makes cleaning easier since you don't need to pull out the hose: Rinse Free Car Wash | XPEL I believe I have seen some youtube videos showing how this works as well.

    XPEL Ultimate wrap cost?

No one is making you do it. You might as well say that we are crazy for buying a Tesla when you can get a Corolla for $15k. They both get you to where you are trying to go. I got the Xpel because it also makes the car much more scratch resistant, which is obvious if you look at some of the...

    XPEL Ultimate wrap cost?

In Chicago I paid $6400 for Xpel and window tinting. It was only a couple hundred for the tinting. I got a couple quotes and most were a few hundred less, but I went with a place that does a ton of the wraps. They also wrapped the edges where possible, and pulled off the emblems and got new ones...

    Pearl White vs Deep Blue

One thing to keep in mind is that on a lot of previous cars we've had with light color interiors... on the edges of the seats there would always be a lot of blue that rubs off from jeans. We've now said we wouldn't get any other interior colors other than black. Lots of people have had similar...

This is our Pearl White that we just took delivery on the other day: New Pearl White 90D

    New Pearl White 90D

For people that want a bit of background on my story: Model S Delivery Update Took about 2.5 weeks to get the car after the production was done, but it is here. Our car is a 90D that is just about fully loaded (no extra seats in the back). We ordered it after the refresh was announced, and it...
