I need remote help to manually flash a Drive Inverter logic board. Willing to compensate. The inverter's logic board is from a P85 so announces hwid 13. However car is P90D insane so it fails to redeploy because there isn't a DI firmware under /deploy/seed_artifacts that is di:13 and 4wd=1 at...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

Quite the contrary they're increasing if you look carefully. They're just so low you actually need to do the math to notice.

Thank you for the explanation. I also saw this board and its github page while researching how to solve this. Yet where I am located it is not easy to print circuit boards nor it is easy to have them shipped out. So to accelerate the process I just taped wires on a long wooden stick used to...

    ASY-HV BATTERY,90KWH,SX

I have a list of battery pack part numbers but part number you gave is not in the list. Probably a 2020 built one. Does it say REMAN as in remanufactured? Please keep us posted. As a fellow facelift 2017 90D owner I'm facing more degradation than expected and am curious why you're getting a...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

The fact that they would be almost super healthy if multiplied by 100 is super suspicious. I also don't know if they would discharge so evenly below 1V level. Also having e-mails back and forth with Gruber at this point. I did measure with a simple multimeter set to measure 20VDC. Readings would...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

Bad news. ESS is absolutely dead. @markwj and @ML Auto was right. I don't think this is recoverable. I don't have a lot of experience with batteries but these voltages are absolutely bricked right? I wish Roadster ESS was like the Model S i.e. contactors absolutely open in case of fault. Either...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

thank you for the response. Connector I’m referring to is the mid to back harness on the right side of the car. A circular connector going in from A pillar bottom right hand side to rear. I will check sheet voltages today and let you guys know. The design being different than Model S is bad...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

I will but I've seen Model S packs when left isolated (i.e. contactors open all the time) don't have such self discharger to brick them. So still hopeful. When you consider it was 78% SoC when dead so around 3.9V-4V per cell I want to believe there is hope. If not I can always revive it. Let's...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

Thanks for the swift response. I'll check the inside of the 400V controller first thing in the morning. Is it true that if fuse in it is fried then fuse inside ESS is also fried? Hopefully changing fuses in both fixes it. If not hopefully I can find a spare 400V controller. Still worth checking...

Let's save this only Roadster left in the country

Hey folks; Long story short I have the only Roadster left in our country. 2010 model year EU VIN278 around 60k miles. It has not worked snce the owner washed the car in May 2018, had a little drive and parked the vehicle. Thankfully Gruber has been helping me for the past 4-5 months over...

Would Tesla honor my FSD purchase if I modify Model S?

Hey; Living in Turkey, your average Tesla ownership experience is quite alone. It was, at least until we started out a 3rd party repair service in our market as the Tesla owner's club of the country.(E-Garaj/TeslaTurk) I am driving a 2017 Model S 90D built in March. After just 420 cycles or so...

After changing the hvilnodes count, HVIL errors are gone actually but I'm getting; -HVJB disconnected -HVJB over temperature (two different ones) -FC contactors welded (all kinds of different errors) I'm still thinking this means HVJB logic connector is bad. However I checked the voltages...

Update. Found out that I need to lower hvilnodes on gw config to 4. Also didn’t work. So the 2nd A-Ha moment that didn’t work. I wonder if it is the HVIL that is causing this there may be a damage in hvjb reed switches or something but errors are HVJB over temperature and FC contactors welded...

How would someone get rid of vital errors about HVJB, FC contactors and HVIL? Hence the BMS fault that comes with it. I was removing the broken master charger from a dual charger 2015 Model S to instead make slave the master and lower config to single charger. Steps; - Removed slave charger. -...
