2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

The stopping mode still has those options, but Hold (which I use) apparently does not keep regen on down to a stop.

2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

I was startled when I drove it that regeneration stopped at about 10 miles per hour and I had to apply the brake to stop. I checked the controls and the regeneration options are just Low and Standard with no Max. No more one pedal driving.

2021 Holiday Firmware Release - Predictions and Impressions (after release)

So they simplified the controls to make them LESS functional? Ummm... thanks but I want to change driver profiles with one touch, I can't customize the tool bar with the icons Tesla just took away, I don't want the car's current speed behind my right hand while I'm driving, and I want my Max...

Supercharger - Martinez, CA (LIVE Dec 2021, 16 V3 stalls)

There are 11 supercharger pedestals on the north side of the building and 3 are visible on the west side from the construction fence. Presumably there are two more on the west side since there are 4 supercharger cabinets.

Phone unlocks door but key card needed to drive

For the last week or two, our Model 3 has unlocked without a problem as we approach, but it requires us to touch the key card behind the cup holder to drive. This behavior is the same for both phones that are connected to the car, and before the last couple weeks we haven't had this happen in...

TSLA S&P SP Prediction - Conducted Dec-12th weekend

I'm surprised by the bullish feelings about the week of December 21st. It seems pretty clear to me that we are in a speculative bubble right now since the company isn't fundamentally worth more than it was a month ago. I expect the share price to rise some this week, but alot of speculators...

    Supercharger - Olema, CA (LIVE 16 Aug 2023, 6 V2 stalls)

I did a search to see the status of the permitting by downloading from the Marin County database. An application was submitted July 23rd for this site with the description "7 E V Chargers W/Assoc Equip & Transformers; Bollards T.D. 8/11/20"

    Supercharger - Clayton, NM

I checked the New Mexico permit database and TA-DA!!! It is permit PRT_2020015945, approved on June 2nd. The location is 315 South 1st Street, which is the Clayton Ranch Market right on US-87.

    Supercharger - Minnetonka, MN

While your diligence is most appreciated, flags and pavement markings aren't generally considered cone-worthy. When there is construction equipment on site, fencing, Tesla equipment, or something like that the site will get its cone.

    Wiki Supercharger Progress

I have been maintaining this wiki for quite a while, but I have fallen behind since there has been alot of activity and I haven't had much time. If anyone wants this wiki to continue they will have to start updating it. Just be careful to maintain the pattern of the table formatting since it...

Supercharger - Santa Cruz, CA - Soquel Avenue (LIVE 16 Jul 2020, 16 V3 stalls)

Permit B19-0535 says Do L3 charging brands other than superchargers have enclosures? Sometimes people can confuse Tesla superchargers and generic EV chargers, but this seems pretty likely to be superchargers. There should be evidence at the site soon one way or the other.

Supercharger Speculation: Large New One Coming to Central California along 101?

I found the Big Sur supercharger through the Monterey County database, and it does have permits for King City. I have no idea if the database is comprehensive, however, so not finding a permit doesn't necessarily mean .there isn't one.

    Tesla Supercharger network

For reference, here are the 447 superchargers which are theoretically "Coming Soon" to the U.S. and Canada in 2020: Dothan AL, Montgomery AL, Tuscaloosa AL, Anchorage AK, Globe AZ, Kayenta AZ, Phoenix AZ, Arkadelphia AR, Bentonville AR, Blytheville AR, Clarksville AR, Forrest City AR, Fort...

    Tesla Supercharger network

Here is the final update on the status of the North American "Coming Soon" superchargers targeted to open in 2019. About 44 sites opened in the U.S. and Canada (about 27 of which were in Canada) in the last month for a total of 190 in 2019 or 38% of sites that were "Coming Soon" depending on how...

I checked the Monterey County building permits database for Gonzales, Soledad, Greenfield, and King City but found nothing.
