P85D LDU failure leak past rotor coolant delete by QCC

I just stumbled on this issue as it was casually mentioned in another forum on FB. I have a 2018 MXP that is currently under the DU and HV battery warranty. I had planned on keeping this car for as long as possible, but it sounds like I have a ticking time bomb on my hands. Is a coolant...

Do they do Austin Gigafactory tours?

I'm going to be in Austin for SXSW next week and would love to tour the Gigafactory (visiting from Canada). Does anyone know if they are allowing tours?

Armrests and seat recline - both lacking on Model X 2nd row - why??

This is EXACTLY why I went with the 6 Seat with center console when it was available on the menu. I made a YT video about it here:

    Perforated ultra white seats peeling

Those are the original perforated seats that were discontinued about a year after the MX was released. It looks like it's peeling because of friction from going in and out. I have the perforated (and cooled) seats that were briefly re-introduced on the P100D in mid 2018. They changed the...

    Acceleration Shudder

Glad to hear the fix worked for you. I honestly think Tesla could easily with a resolve this with a software update that makes low a bit lower but until then, this is a cheap and effective way of solving the shudder. Did you happen to get an alignment done afterwards?

    Acceleration Shudder

These are the ones that I bought: TESLA MODEL X LOWERING KIT / LINKAGES / LINKS | eBay They are fully adjustable unlike the Unplugged Performance brackets. You have to do a bit of math to get the drop you want but I found that by extending the links by 8mm that I was able to get a satisfying...

    Acceleration Shudder

After getting fed up/embarrassed by the shudder and clanking that made my Model X sound like an '86 Tercel, I decided to install lowering links. Now that the car is sitting lower, the vibration and noise is completely gone. IMO, Tesla should just allow us to drive in very low all the time.

    Early failure of rear tires

Thanks for posting this. I had my alignment done after installing the lowering links on my 2018 P100D. My reasons for doing so are that I was getting annoyed at the shaft vibration whenever I pushed the car a little bit. I always drove the car on low so even in that setting, the vibration and...

    Early Access Program

Are there any TEAP users that are NOT in the US? I'm thinking that since that Drive on Nav for Autopilot is limited to the US at the moment that there's a good chance that anyone outside of the US is not going to get an invite, which is a shame.
