My Wife's treasured '14 Model S displayed a 12 v battery fault. I considered changing the battery myself with the help of U-tube but ultimately called Tesla. A technician came to the house today and changed the battery in about 40 minutes. Fee was $223. I am quite satisfied.

Update: I changed the driver's upper hinge this morning. An easy task, it took about 15 munutes with an eBay sourced hinge. The nuts for the hinge are indeed captured. Tesla had quoted my wife $600 to install a new hinge!!! Job done!! Eric
