I've got Taptes struts on my rear trunk, and agree. They're too strong. My trunk opens like a trebuchet and the last six inches to close takes a lot more effort. Has anyone taken just one spring off to see if that helps? Or maybe used one factory strut and one spring assisted one?

Got mine yesterday too! Picked up at the delivery center, but everything was touchless and the employees all kept to social distancing norms. It was fast, easy and honestly no big deal.

Was planning on doing the Homelink install, but love the Tailwind idea because I can also check my door status while away and open/close it remotely. Noticed the 8-12 weeks today as well. I ordered mine on 4/4 with a 2-4 weeks estimated delivery. My SA told me they were told that all Model 3 orders placed before 4/7 were expected to deliver in Q1 (end of March), and that my 2-4 weeks should likely be good. He also said to expect it to jump to...
