Vehicle Tracker installed by Tesla in UK Roadsters

Sorry, this isn't true. I still have the original NavTrak ADR 5 tracker in my UK Roadster, but it is now administered by Vodafone Automotive. It works 100%, because I occasionally forget my little tag thing and they call me pretty quickly! It might be worth giving them a call. Attached is a...

Any one know how to remove the iPod dock?

Thanks. I managed it in the end, after a bit of a struggle. That sprung steel clip at the back had a bit of a death grip on my car, but the pictures were very helpful. I left it like this (see below):

Any one know how to remove the iPod dock?

Hi Nicky, Can you please let me know how you got on with replacing your old IPod dock, as I'd like to do the same. Cheers, Eugene

    Roadster History Europe/APAC

The Hardknott Pass is a beast, but the Roadster (or any EV) just strolls up it. No need to worry about frying the clutch on the way up, or the brakes on the way down. I was once in a VW camper van that barely made it up, so the contrast was startling. And what a bonus in getting so much energy...

My new solar and Powerwall installation

Our Powerwall 2 is installed inside our house, in a cubby-hole by the front door. It DOES make noise. Plenty of noise. Doesn't bother us particularly, but it's enough to bother plenty of people I would say. There is a plainly audible whirr when the cooling fan is operating, a buzz at times, and...

    Coolant System Problem ID:1447

Yes, that's what I was thinking. The coolant pump is clearly running, so I'l just pootle down to the local service centre. Thanks to those who've tried to help me. :)

    Coolant System Problem ID:1447

Thanks, Henry. I'll have a play with the car tomorrow with a view to seeing if it's driveable, or needs to be collected. PS. It certainly hums loudly when awake. Is the pump sound more 'gurgly' like fluid moving through pipes?

    Coolant System Problem ID:1447

Hello all, Came back from holiday to find my beloved Roadster reporting the above error. I've checked the coolant reservoir and it seems OK. I've also contacted Tesla UK (eventually) who advised me: 1. Not to drive the car 2. Drop the car off at their B'ham service centre so they can take...

    Unable to open Roadster boot/trunk

Help! I brought my Roadster out of UK winter storage (in a carcoon in my garage) and all was well until I attempted to open the boot/trunk. I tried the button on the dash first - nothing (not even the sound of a solenoid). I tried double-clickng the release button on the key. Nothing. In...
