hello, do you know if the screens on the Model S new MCU kit are the same as the ones used in 2017-18 cars that had yellow borders? Is vendor the same,? Are screens in new cars any brighter , etc. or different ? I had heard that new cars have brighter screens with more color... thanks

Not totally sure on the vendor, Rev C screens are reported by many the images look way better. AFAIK yellow boarder screens are pre Rev C as C came out late 19.

Hi EV-Fixme, trying to set up an account on the Unofficial Tesla Tech dot com site. When I fill out my application, and submit, the following error message comes up:

      Error sending mail:
Failed to connect to tls://mail.unofficial-tesla-tech.com:587 [SMTP: Failed to connect socket: Permission denied (code: -1, response: )]

Is there another way to join the wiki? Thanks.

      Hello,
What do you charge for the MCU1 rehab?
Does the rehab increase the memory size?
      Thanks

Hi EV-Fixme, I am trying to set up an MCU1 repair facility incl. eMMC replacement here in Australia. I can handle all the hardware part but when it comes to transfer / repair of the software it becomes scary. Do you have any experience or can you recommend anyone I could talk to if I get into troubles or at least to get started?
