There seems to be a building of IC talk.... Yes the IC has a eMMC. we have seen a small amount of them wear out.... We are still looking for a good replacement chip and will start offering repairs if needed once we have a suitable chip.

Actually, the firmware also lives on eMMC, in the P1 and 2 partitions. It is also loaded into RAM, however likely partially since the firmware can be up to 1 Gig, and it escapes my memory (pun intended) how much there is.

We have recently seen a Tegra board fail that was replaced by Tesla under recall. We are still looking into it but it appears the eMMC is fine and some other component has failed. It's likely a one-off issue, however Tesla has told him his "MCU has failed, and need to upgrade to MCU2 for over...

This can be done. We have Used HID lights available. We have converted the HID to LED using all OE parts and controls. LED and HID can also be done in a very similar way. However this is not something we can do remote and we can old do at our location. Using HID with upgraded projectors...

Car is lowered about 1.25" I had a set of tires on the rear that were 275x35x20 that came with a set of wheels, the smaller diameter had too much gap all around for my liking. I was glad when the tires wore out and I went back to 285x35.

This is the mentioned set of wheels. 285x35x20 in front and 335x30x20 in the back.

We have installed 335 in the rear on the new body with no rub, the setup is pretty specific and made by Signature Wheels. I run 285/35/20 with different offsets and have not had any rub on my original body style.

Do you have base or premium audio? We might have parts to make a one off adapter. I'm not aware of any you can buy. PM us on details what you want to do and maybe we can help you out.

Sorry, im not fully up to date on the thread, but this caught my eye. The larger chip is not partitioned to allow the user all the space (unneeded) but the chip does utilize all the space for wear. Tesla has also reduced logging significantly. A replaced chip perform well and will last much...
