How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

But back to the question at hand. How much would you pay for a 2022, 8K miles, long range AWD, 19" Gemini Wheels, black interior, no FSD, no AP.?

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

Right. What I'm saying is the IRS site doesn't mention the $300K number except in the context of the married filing jointly. I'm saying the non-IRS website is quoting the IRS website incorrectly.

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

That article seems to mistate what it says on the IRS website: Credits for New Clean Vehicles Purchased in 2023 or After | Internal Revenue Service According to irs.gov: In addition, your modified adjusted gross income (AGI) may not exceed: $300,000 for married couples filing jointly...

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

Noted and understood. Shouldn't be a problem.

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

I suppose I could sort of qualify for the tax incentive by having my sister on the title with me and she takes the tax credit since her income level qualifies. Then she could gift me $7500 and that is below the gift tax limit.

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

Sorry, my message was embarrassingly unclear. What I meant by base config was an LR AWD, with no upgraded paint, AP/FSD, or any other additional cost items.

How do you value a used Model Y in current market conditions?

What's the best way to come up with a fair value for a used Model Y? I see some low mileage, 2022s, 8k-15k miles. For our purposes, let's just consider base config. As a buyer, what would be a good price? Carvana is offering $33,161 for a white, 2022 with 8K miles. This is in CA. A brand new...

Key Card and NFC from phone not working, car not connecting to network. Locked out.

**UPDATE** It was indeed the 12v battery. Excellent remote diagnostics by the community! By the time I got home, some of the windows dropped in various positions. I was able to open a door. It took a few tries, but I was able to do the two thumbwheel reset. After rebooting, various 12v...

Key Card and NFC from phone not working, car not connecting to network. Locked out.

2018 Long Range, AWD Model 3. My wife's key card and phone as NFC key is not allowing her to open the car. The mirrors are out indicating it is unlocked, but she can't open the doors. From the app, it is showing the car as seen over 11 hours ago with the refresh indicator just spinning. It's...

Temporary, non-destructive, $8 fix for back up camera issue (~2 hours work)

Sorry, BlueGhost, looks like I missed some follow up questions on this thread. I don't know why I didn't get the notifications for subsequent responses. I got them for some of the responses. Anyone, feel free to ping me with a direct message to check this thread if you ask a question and I...

Temporary, non-destructive, $8 fix for back up camera issue (~2 hours work)

No need for any compensation. Just glad it's helpful to somebody. Take your time. All the work is in getting those panels off. The gaffers tape works better than the blue painters tape, but it still comes off eventually. I think the heat in the truck along with the bumpy surface of that...

Temporary, non-destructive, $8 fix for back up camera issue (~2 hours work)

Hey BMacK, thanks for taking the time to post a response so I know at least I helped someone. Yeah, there's a lot of info there. From a high level, the steps are just removing the trunk cover panel, the rear deck panel, and replacing the cable. I should also mention that anytime you remove...

Stopgap Fix for Rear Camera Cable Recall?

Thanks, Timbo. Yeah, my cable has the yellow stripe. And regardless, no matter how much uncrimping, unscrunching of that rubber tube and hard resets, I wasn't able to get my rear video feed back. I'm guessing internally, the coax cable has separated beyond even a momentary connection.

Stopgap Fix for Rear Camera Cable Recall?

In case anyone is watching this thread, I wrote up my stopgap fix here: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/temporary-non-destructive-8-fix-for-back-up-camera-issue-2-hours-work.267655/

Temporary, non-destructive, $8 fix for back up camera issue (~2 hours work)

Hey everyone, here is my write up on a temp fix for the back up camera if you think it’s because of the coaxial cable losing connection due to crimping of the cable from opening and closing the trunk as opposed to just a SW bug. This fix is completely reversible when the time comes for Tesla to...
