Sentry Mode: CAUGHT in the act keying my car with knife

Thanks for the insight, everyone. In light of more pressing matters, I contacted the WC PD to inquire about vandalized vehicles. They mentioned not having received similar accounts and recommended emailing the footage for record-keeping in case of future incidents, which I did. As of now, they...

Sentry Mode: CAUGHT in the act keying my car with knife

@afadeev, in 24 years of owning/operating vehicles, vandalism to one is a first...for me. Things happen, it just felt nice having it caught on camera. With your "so what?" response, it sounds as though this happens often to you, sorry if that is the case. For this, I consider myself fortunate...

Sentry Mode: CAUGHT in the act keying my car with knife

Sentry mode caught this person scratching vehicles charging in Walnut Creek, CA on 10/7/23. My car was *actively* charging with about 30 minutes remaining. I arrived at 4:03 to pick it up and this occurred at 3:35. As with anything, it could certainly be worse, but I'm looking at a paint job for...

Oh that? I rather like it, don't you? ;)

Raised "Bumps" in Bumper Where Fastened to Vehicle

My December 2018 build M3 is now about 18 months old. I haven't driven much since early March, just ran to the bank and something caught my eye ... hard to describe but there are bumps where it appears the rear bumper is fastened onto the vehicle. This is on both left and right sides (rear)...

Bay Area Folks: Swap My White Dash for Your Wood Dash? $0.

It seems this is split on what folks prefer, similar to any other color on anything. I don't see how the white dash is "worth a hefty premium" over the wood dash, or vice versa for that matter. Perhaps because there are few white dashes in existence and far more wood (black interiors)? That's...

Bay Area Folks: Swap My White Dash for Your Wood Dash? $0.

@jhou -- I wish I was able to do it that quickly. Enjoy the road trip! @boostftw -- This sounds good. I'm waiting for the green light from my other half. Our car goes in on Monday for a clear mask, tint, interior protection, etc. so I won't have it until Friday, 1/11, then we're out of town...

Bay Area Folks: Swap My White Dash for Your Wood Dash? $0.

...I should add, my vehicle is brand new with 120 miles on it now, so this dash is flawless.

Bay Area Folks: Swap My White Dash for Your Wood Dash? $0.

My vehicle is white/white with the white dash. I'm loving the white/white combo but feel the wood dash would be a better fit and a nice contrast over the "me too" white dash on a white/white car. I've seen a video online of two folks that met up and swapped their dashes. Didn't look very hard...

Epidemic of Model 3 small window break-ins

I'm in Oakland, moving to San Jose in the spring. I'm well aware of this problem in the Bay Area, but it is upsetting to read Tesla vehicles are actually targeted. I always thought it was completely random and/or chimes of opportunity. I am hyper sensitive to this issue and never leave anything...
