How does an independent shop reset steering angle after alignment?

Funny that is one of the most important things an alignment shop should do. That and make sure everything is tightened up afterward.

My Car is on a Diet.

For the record, the UP PP car weighed in at 3999lbs with randy in it. I would say an estimate of 600-700lbs of OE components were removed but the full cage and other misc items brought the curb weight back up. All windows are also lexan except the back window.

How does an independent shop reset steering angle after alignment?

I track 3-4 times a month and tune my alignment monthly. I'll even make minor adjustments myself with toe plates. Just wanted to boost your confidence in knowing that just about any alignment shop can perform service on your car. Sure, there is a slight risk. I would say you're more than likely...

Tesla Podium at Global Time Attack *Video*

I don't have any MPP parts on my car but I can imagine a BMCB could help. How much of a benefit is in question. I'm certainly not against it.

Tesla Podium at Global Time Attack *Video*

Surely. I'm pretty damn happy with my setup. Coupled with a good tire I have incredible stopping power without blasting through sets of pads every couple of track days. I have the front big brake kit to thank for that. - Front BFB kit by Unplugged Performance. Carbon 395mm rotors with 6 piston...

Thanks Mash! I would say the combination of driver, grip, and software hack got that well-deserved 1:52.8. Dai is a professional driver who has a lot of seat time at Buttonwillow. Here's the main difference in cars: Dai's Car: Aero: Large Wing, Front Splitter and Side Skirts Tires: Advan...

Tesla Podium at Global Time Attack *Video*

Happy to report my 2nd place podium at Global Time Attack at Buttonwillow. I competed in Enthusiast class which limited my setup but was still a great challenge. My tires were one of the biggest limiting factors. I was restricted to 255 with a minimum 220 tread wear. I also needed to include all...

VIR Full EV Lap Record - 2:04.9

Congrats on the PB! I've had my eye on VIR for a tour I'm working on. Superchargers seem to be pretty far from the track. Do they have 50amps available or you have different solution? Do you use Assetto Corsa VIR? I hear the track design is pretty good. By the way, Great tire selection btw. I...

Unplugged Track Beasts! 3 vs Y

Yeah, it's pretty impressive. There are only about 10/80+ Teslas I know in sub 2. They are all 3's except this Y.
