Does anyone actually have FSD v12 yet?

I just got 12.3 on my Model Y, and I've stopped using it already. I really dislike the mandatory 1-pull activation for full FSD. I hadn't realized how often I like to use the cruise control while doing my own steering, and that's not an option right now if you've selected the FSD option. Back...

    Home charging management software?

ChargeHQ manages my cars charge current very well with my Powerwalls, but I'm not sure about other solar setups. They have a free version, and a 60 day free trial of the full version. I'm very happy with it! https://chargehq.net/

Methods to open frunk while approaching a sleeping car

There is an app for the Samsung Galaxy watch 4 (and higher) called Drive Electric. It has an "open on approach" feature that works on both the trunk and trunk. It has many other functions as well, and is one of my favorite watch apps...

New Model 3 keeps steering/pulling towards right

I suppose I should clarify my "funny" response to the previous post. The video was funny, I enjoyed that. But not as a response to the OP problem. But I don't think I can upvote and downvote at the same time, so I just went with amusing video.

Why people tap the charge cable end on the car before charging?

Gosh, I always thought it was to knock the neutrons loose so they don't clog up the wires!

*sigh* Rookie Question about A/C ... why is it running when parked in my garage?

No, it really is closed. And stop calling me Shirley! 😁

*sigh* Rookie Question about A/C ... why is it running when parked in my garage?

It's pointless to use COP in a garage that is hotter than the COP temperature. The car is just pumping the internal heat to the exterior, which in the garage just makes the car's environment hotter. So the car works even harder to cool the interior. It's a feedback loop that just wastes...

    No LTE connectivity

Is this in one location, or everywhere? Recently I noticed that I have no connectivity from just outside my house to a few blocks away. I just sort of assumed that the phone company may have switched a local cell tower to 5G and dropped the LTE. I really have no idea if this is correct, but...

    Costco Michelin Wiper Blades

I have to agree. Pre-Tesla, I always changed my blades at least once every year. However, now I'm still on the originals after 3 1/2 years. It doesn't rain much here in Arizona, but it did just last week, and they still work very well, with no streaking or chattering. BTW, my cars are...

Vendor DRIVE Electric for Tesla, a wearable app for Wear OS - support

Hi Runar, thanks for your quick response, and sorry for my slow response. Yes, I had tried the things you suggested, without success. But today I had an update for the phone app, and the watch app suddenly started working again. I have no idea if it was related, but all is good now. Thanks...

Vendor DRIVE Electric for Tesla, a wearable app for Wear OS - support

I hate to use this forum for a support question, but I don't have Facebook or Reddit accounts, and there doesn't appear to be a web site. So... Apparently my Tesla login token expired, so I had to sign in on the phone app, which worked fine - it says "A valid token is sent to the watch app"...

Is a new, "previously repaired" Model Y worth it for a steep discount

Another question... does the repair show on Carfax? If so, there's some "diminished value" there.

    Aren’t these powerwalls Cool

Off topic, but you might want to think about turning off cabin overheat protection in the garage. It's just pumping heat from the interior of the car to the exterior of the car, which is not a favorable feedback situation in a closed garage.

    What is this spinning Icon?

I respond to this back in March... Anyway, I have found that the easiest and quickest way to fix this is to just select another audio source. This usually resolves it almost instantly, and then you can switch back to what you wanted to listen to.

    Thank goodness for Tesla dashcam

Yes, you're quite right - it's not nearly as reliable as we'd like. I suppose I should have said they are supposed to be recording constantly. If it's a software problem rather than hardware, we can at least hope for improvement in the future.
