    Supercharger - Yakima, WA

The Tesla AC/DC power conversion equipment, and the control circuitry, basically everything needed other than the pedestals that you pull up to, and the utility company’s AC/AC transformer (usually a green metal box).and a utility-company meter.

    Supercharger - Federal Way, WA

Why would you want that, when you can get the higher amperage Tesla propriety wall connector, OR a much cheaper 30A J1772 one from many sellers. The electrons are the same no matter the brand. I assumed the photo was of two chargers with a Tesla one on row 1 and a J1772 one on row 2, but the...

    Supercharger - Yakima, WA

You won’t need side mirrors on a Cybertruck. They are so tough, that you can change lanes without looking. Anything in your way (cars etc.) will just bounce off and not even leave a scratch. It’ll be like Hummer drivers in the 90s and 00s, remember how rude they could be just because they...

    Supercharger - Federal Way, WA

Are you kidding? It isn’t obvious you are. Your Tesla came with one, it’s mandatory that all EVs sold in USA are compatible with J-1772 chargers. Hence Tesla provides the adapter. SAE J1772 Charging Adapter $95. I only wish Tesla would provide the NEMA 14-50 adapter to the mobile charger unit...

    Washington Registration Refund

It’s not a donation, you should have got your “refund” from the purchaser by adding that cost to the sales price. Say you had put new tires on it, would you consider that a donation to Les Schwab’s? No, it changed the value of the vehicle. If you didn’t include it in the price your “donation”...

    Supercharger - Lacey, WA

Good to know. 6kW is better than nothing. Possible overnight charging spot if you want to sleep in your car when on a long trip. That’s what “camp mode” is for.

    Supercharger - Entiat, WA

That's scarcely surprising,as you can't make any money off of payphone service anymore. The only place I have seen public payphones recently is on South Whidbey Island where Whidbey Telecom still keeps a few working around the area as a community service.

    Supercharger - Entiat, WA

There are lots of people from Seattle area and especially the eastside (Bellevue etc.) who take family vacations on Lake Chelan, north of Chelan itself, for water sports and the warmth. Often they bring a boat with them. Given that, could this Entiat site be designed to help them recharge their...

    Model 3 Leftovers For Sale

Are you willing to share details of your trade? What was the trade-in mileage, model (LR/SR+) and age and what did Tesla give you? I’m thinking of doing the same.

Registration in Wa now more than insurance?

Please don’t just make stuff up, it isn’t helpful to our cause to get everyone riled up with inaccurate information. The EV fee is $150, not $225, and has been since about 2016. That’s what I have paid since then. It is not imposed because we’re a small group, it is imposed because we don’t...

    Supercharger - Bothell, WA

I stopped by today at the Bothell site, it looks like no progress has happened since the last report in March. Not surprising, I suppose. Here’s some pics:

    2020.12.5

I see on Teslafi, this new release Version 2020.12.10 e0ccfda3d appeared a few days ago. 400+ people have it but not me. Any differences in the release notes?

Elon: Wi-Fi-based garbage-door opening coming soon!

I think a garbage can opener is a feature that Tesla should provide! ;)

    2020.12.5

Just got it, but I hoped this was the release with stopping at Stop sign/light. Apparently I am mistaken. Which release has that. My wife asked what does it do on yellow, I said “go very fast!” (anyone remember “Starman”, the movie that is?)

    Supercharger - Hillsboro, OR

I am the other guy. I’ve gone that route when coming from the coast via Lincoln City and McMinnville on OR-18 a year or two ago. There was major weekend construction in Portland and I5, 205,405 and even OR-26 were backed up with 30-60 minute delays. So we cut cross-country as best we could to...
