    Deliveries of $80k X?

I wonder the same thing--when do they decide the demo is ready to be sold? My buddy took delivery of a demo plaid x before the price drops and his had under 100 miles on it. but it did have several randos phones paired to bluetooth that he deleted, so it seemed plausible that it was indeed a demo

    Deliveries of $80k X?

I have also wondered this! It's not the RN and it's not the VIN. I haven't successfully screenshotted it.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

You can text the sa/tesla team to ask but I highly doubt they would list the tax credit eligibility inaccurately on their website.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

For the record when my monroney was reprinted (x2 I suppose) the configuration listed on the document did not change.

    Deliveries of $80k X?

Fair. Where I’m coming from: I preordered a model Y at around the 60k price. The price had changed two or three times by the time I took delivery. There was no monroney. I asked for it because it’s often requested by third party tradein companies. They reprinted it and it was with the current...

Tesla reprints the Monroneys all the time.

Tinting Windows - Los Angeles Area

I've used sunshield glass tinting in Sherman Oaks (just off the 101 near the 101/405 junction) for 3 teslas now. they are a top notch shop. they'll quote you the price over the phone and stick to it. they'll make an appointment for you and they are almost always running on time. they carry at...

Model Y has anyone received 2023 VIN yet?

@kinematic mind sharing your digit after PF58? I know they don't necessarily go sequentially, but just wondering if we can decipher what subsequent digit would be the cutoff for cargo cover or not. thank you

replacing roof at the same time as Tesla solar panel install

Thanks to all for the variety of responses. Matching replacements for broken tiles years after installation seems like a real hassle too. I remember I saw a house once with what must have been a couple hundred extra tiles stacked up on the side of the garage. That's one way to do it, I guess...

replacing roof at the same time as Tesla solar panel install

Thanks for the info...all good to know. I was thinking of going with concrete tiles and it seemed like it would be a bigger hassle to do the two installations sequentially.

replacing roof at the same time as Tesla solar panel install

I'm trying to figure out if Tesla will work with roofers in Los Angeles County to coordinate roof replacement at the same time as a fresh installation of Tesla solar panels. Our asphalt shingle roof is pretty old--the last time a roofer was up there, he told us it was 25 years old and he thought...

The perfect Model 3 emergency jack?

Thanks for the explanation. That totally makes sense, as almost every time a jack up a car it seems like the car wants to roll. I had thought that was because every time I jack up a car I never quite center it correctly. Your explanation makes a lot more sense. when you are referring to shop...

The perfect Model 3 emergency jack?

You’re right. I’m not sure. Only thing I can think of is my driveway might be a little sloped but I’ve never taken a level to it (it doesn’t really feel sloped...)

The perfect Model 3 emergency jack?

What do you use it for? Does yours flex side to side like mine? (I was doing it on totally level ground but inevitably the weight shifts a little as the tire clears the ground, hence the stress on the jack.) I wonder if some jack models/generations are better than others.

The perfect Model 3 emergency jack?

I got an OEM Porsche aluminum jack from eBay and have been sorely disappointed! I cleaned it up and regreased the thread. I couldn’t manage to get a rear tire up on solid ground because I absolutely destroyed the skinny aluminum wrench (the aluminum bent stick with a handle on one end and a hook...
