Elon Confirms that the FSD sneak peak is for car with HW3 only

S/X customers paid the most and are generally more capable of buying another Tesla. Seems like good business strategy to give them priority. Their cars are also more likely to be in a Tesla service center, due to age, and it’s easier to upgrade cars that are already in the service center.

Elon Confirms that the FSD sneak peak is for car with HW3 only

Elon said HW3 was using only about 10% of its compute power. It’s also the biggest source of data for the neural net.

My 3 was hit by a teenager; what can/should be claimed for this damage?

No need to blur the license plate. It’s in plain view every time you drive on a public road.

20” Sport wheels with 40mm offset

Most of the 20” Sport wheels have 35mm offset and are taken off a Model 3 Performance but I am interested in the less common 40mm offset version of this 20” wheel. Both sizes fit non-Performance cars but I prefer the 40mm variant and am willing to pay $300 + actual shipping cost.

    2019.28.3.1

Mine seemed to wait too long to start braking for stopped cars but I’m just one sample.

    2019.28.3.1

Same here. Lots of strange noises.

    2019.28.3.1

I have the same problem with Autopilot trying to get over to the slower right lanes too early, miles before my exit, and I’m on 2019.28.3.1. Also, AP demanded I take control right after I ran a red light, like it was programmed to get the driver’s attention in case they’re not mentally engaged...

    M3 Display Car Colors

Why do some of the red Model 3 pictures on the internet look almost as red as a Ferrari but in person are consistently more dull like dark pigment was added? I have yet to see a Model 3 in person that looks like the bright red internet pictures. Did Tesla make two shades of red? The difference...

Suspension problems. OEM dampers are failing.

I have no reason to doubt your perceptions about the dampers doing less damping. People notice what is important to them. I suspect your dampers lost some performance but without failing. If you said your seat cushions were noticeably less firm after 6000 miles I would believe this too and it...

Is There a Definitive Answer? 20" Sport Wheel Includes Rear Upper Fore Links / Control Arms

My SR+ manufactured 06/19 also has the weaker looking spot welded upper fore links like the Performance cars. I suspect it’s designed to sacrifice itself to protect the chassis. When people use larger wheels with low profile tires they lose significant tire depth that would have absorbed the...

Is There a Definitive Answer? 20" Sport Wheel Includes Rear Upper Fore Links / Control Arms

Any idea why they are replacing the rear upper fore links and why the part is no longer included with the 20” package? Part number is 1044427-00-C. I have seen statements that the replacement fore links are just beefier for side impact crash related reasons but no evidence of this was offered. I...

Is There a Definitive Answer? 20" Sport Wheel Includes Rear Upper Fore Links / Control Arms

The offset is different. Performance cars have 35mm offset wheels while some or all other variants have 40mm offset. I see two possible reasons for this: (A) the car’s wheel mount surface on the suspension assembly sticks out farther from the chassis on cheaper cars and needs a higher offset...

Recommend a Sub Trunk / Cargo Area mat?

IKEA door mats are $1.49. Cat litter boxes with a lip are $5.78 on Amazon. Do you still love the price?

Standard Interior+ No carpet floormats or Frunk mat

IKEA sells door mats for $1.49. Think of this before you pay over $50 for a frunk mat. A sheet of black plastic the size of a door mat doesn't cost a lot to manufacture.
