    Model X drivers door ball rod disconnecting

    First time posting but have a problem in search of an easy fix suggestion. The eletric door rod has disconnected 3x from the ball. I believe the plastic clip insert on the cup side is worn/defective. Really not looking for a service appt. Any suggestions as to cause and/or correction? Thanks!
