Supercharger - Oxnard, CA (EXPANDED Jun 2018, now 20 total)

Does anyone have an update on the Oxnard SC? We will be traveling down from Oregon to stay at Pepperdine U in Early May and are hoping this would be ready. Sounds pretty 'iffy' at this point.

    Oregon Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

Thanks for the update andyrebele. We are just about to leave for Grants Pass. Google lists from my house to the SC as 187 miles and I could do it in my 60, but probably won't chance it this time. Plus I many need a bit of a lead foot to get to the wedding on time....

    Oregon Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

We will be in Grants Pass (Gold Hill) this Saturday. I would definitely take the MS if I knew the SC was open. I'll plan on going by for pics in any event, although Andyrebele has been great at updating us. Interestingly - we were headed north a couple of days ago and entered I5 at the...

    Oregon Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

The 4 bays at GP are interesting. I did a little looking at traffic volume on the I5 corridor from socal thru Oregon and found the following data: Based on this, the volume thru this area is 1/4 as much as the metro areas of the two states. This could be misleading as trip volume vs daily...

Supercharger - Springfield, OR - Kruse Way

Congratulations Lyon. Sounds like your Model S battery isn't the only item that will need a fast charge at your house for a while. Imagine what transportation will be like when she is old enough to drive!

Supercharger - Springfield, OR - Kruse Way

I'm surprised that we haven't seen a photo update on the Eugene/Springfield SC.... Since it's right in town, I thought this would be updated daily. Does this mean the rate of progress is slower than Woodburn and others? Also, has anyone confirmed activity on SC's to the south?

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

I'm late putting this up, but I promised several that I would post a copy of the video I took of the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. It was great to meet many of you that day.... The video is just handheld with my point and shoot cam, so don't expect high quality cinematography, but I thought the...

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

Here are a few more pics of the event, including the actual ribbon cutting by representative Phil Barnhart from Eugene (Lane and Linn counties). Representative Barnhart is a huge supporter, and both he and his son (also Phil) have a model S (Representative Barnhart's is the Red Sig). I also...

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

It is my understanding the the Power Company was there until after midnight last night. I have not heard anything regarding glitches in installation. Also have not heard when the actual Inspection is set for. Hopefully all is still on schedule for Thursday.

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

No problem with the skepticism. Frankly I was as well - and execution hiccups when installing the xformer, permits, etc can obviously still derail the 'plan of record'. Let's keep our fingers crossed that when we hit the 'lightning bolt' on the model s map app next Thursday, we get a ping at...

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

Announcement: I have heard from two independant sources that should 'be in a position to know' that the official ribbon cutting ceremony is currently scheduled for 10:00 am on Thursday, August 29th. No more detail at this time, but looks like by this time next week we will be able to go from...

    Supercharger - Woodburn, OR

Quick update.... I am currently in the Elmers parking lot and will post a few pics. Transformer is currently still not placed, and it sounds like the power of the entire area will have to be shut off in order for that to happen, so I assume this will happen late at night or very early morning...

    Firmware 5.0

I may have missed this on the thread, but can someone confirm that 4G tethering works, and makes in car apps more responsive (particularly reloading of google map screens in full screen mode)?
