Powerwall / battery storage: can you share how you use it with UK energy tariffs?

Yet another option is octopus cosy: you get 2 off peak periods (4-7am, 1-4pm). The off peak amount is ~17p at the moment, the majority of the day is a bit cheaper than IO, but 4-7pm is a lot more expensive. More expensive just for the car, but on most winter days all the heat pump activity was...

    Octopus Energy Saving Sessions

If it’s like the power up sessions, those vary quite a bit. There have been quite a few middle of the day ones (say 11-2pm) also but morning (9am-12am), late afternoon/early evening (5pm-8pm) or evening (8pm-11pm)

Flint Supercharger Open to All BEV’s

The guidance says this applies to all public rapid chargepoints - there's a long list of things that don't count as public (eg workplace chargers, chargers for use only of residents of a block of flats etc.), but also: Which certainly sounds like you could continue to offer a Tesla-only...

Old BT Cabinets to become EV chargers…

This old document https://assets.elexon.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/28163904/08_SVG166_03A_Openreach.pdf (from 2014, so presumably describes the kit that is being repurposed) seems to say that cabinets used to have 100A supplies ( because that’s just what power companies did), but that...

    Octopus Energy Saving Sessions

I wouldn't hold your breath - I'm missing some power up credits from last month - by the time they'd sent the email saying that they didn't have the meter data it was already visible on the octopus home page. They now claim it must have been missing when the calculations were done & are refusing...

That is great news! bit of a pain travelling to a service centre from around cambridge, with milton keys, chelmsford, norwich all about 1h20-1h30 away in different directions!

And also: - Bar Hill, on the A14 near cambridge too (although the marker is the wrong side of cambridge for Bar hill - the marker is near all the car dealerships by the aiport are) - Stansted (there is already a SC at the services there but only 4 bays so often full) - Godstone (round the bottom...

Unexpected Battery Discharging - How worried should I be ?

I find I occasionally lose 3-4% like that, and other times I will randomly gain 3-4%. I think it's all down to measuring battery status being something of a guessing game.

    Rear bumper repair.

For what it's worth I had what looked like similar damage. I was initially quoted £1000 but it ended up being £2000 because it turned out that the bracket the bumper attaches to had also been damaged - maybe they're just covering their arses
