The point being missed is that Tesla is diverting valuable programming time to develop a better means for a driver to keep their hands on the wheel, INSTEAD OF DEVELOPING A BETTER, DRIVABLE AP PROGRAM and, someday, FSD. IMHO, Tesla should send a copy of the user agreement to the NTSB...

When the notification that "...an update is available" is sent to your iPhone, is it possible to initiate the update in the Model X remotely from your iPhone?

My Model X P100 D Vin 45273, ordered 3/8/17, confirmed 3/15/17, delivered 4/19/17. Enjoying immensely! No known battery recall to date.

Just installed update. Changed guest network on router to "Tesla" and dedicated that SSID for updates only. Have many devices installed on router (sec cams, ROKU, Apple TV, etc) and probably were interrupting downloads. 30 minutes after creating "Tesla" SSID 17.4.4 started coming through...
