    M3 Steering Wheel Functionality

That's the airbag. You can see the word "airbag" in the photo from last night.

Anyone else tired of the "anti" selling of M3?

I distinctly remember Elon saying that "you won't be able to buy a better car even with no options for $35K"

Predictions of largest battery M3 vs. MS 75?

My Predictions: 55kw, 240mi, $35K 70kw, 305mi, $42K P Model will add, $20K to base cost, AWD will add $3000 I also think that during the July reveal, Elon will surprise that the S/X will now be using the new 2170 packs and range across the board for S/X will get a significant bump.

Is this the speedo on the Model 3?

That's definitely the HUD projector :)

How much more would you pay for a driver instrument cluster?

I'm sorry, but if I'm spending $45K on a car, I shouldn't have to count on aftermarket accessories, to make the interior right. I can spend $45K on a loaded Acura TLX and get a gorgeous car inside & out that will last me 15 years.

How much more would you pay for a driver instrument cluster?

I'd add on a Model S style binnacle for $1500.

Just announced. 500k cars by 2018 instead of 2020

I know we're getting the hardware. I was expecting (hoping) that the Model 3 would have a next-gen version of the autopilot hardware though as opposed to what is in the S & X now.

Just announced. 500k cars by 2018 instead of 2020

I certainly hope we will still get v2 autopilot hardware in the Model 3. I also worry about them rushing this. Personally, I would rather they take their time and get everything right the first production run than have to deal with issues later.

Poll: Who thinks they'll get the full $7,500 U.S. tax credit?

Placed my order around 1pm on 1st day in Chicago. I'm also budgeting $45-50K for the car so I'm fairly confident (hopeful) I'll get the full amount.

    Model 3 Supercharging Capable Discussion

I certainly want free supercharging. But then again, I live in Indiana, not Southern California. I think I've seen maybe 3 Teslas on the roads here - total.

    Model 3 Supercharging Capable Discussion

Autopilot is different. Elon clearly stated that hardware would be standard, safety features would be included and convenience features would be extra. His statement on supercharging was as clear as that to me as well. Supercharging is included.

    Model 3 Supercharging Capable Discussion

Supercharging is going to be standard & free for life on the Model 3. No doubt in my mind at all. If not, they are going to have a lot of pissed off potential customers based on what Elon stated at the reveal and what the website says.
