Best Superchargers just outside of Manhattan

We are driving from Maryland to New York in our MYLR, and although it says we can make it there without Supercharging (if we charge at home to 100%), ideally I'd like to charge it back up to around 80% before we enter Manhattan. Can anyone recommend the best/most convenient Superchargers in New...

Discussion: Experiences Renting a Tesla Model 3 / Y from various companies

I’m President’s. But I had no interaction with a person because the lines were so long. My name and assigned car location are just posted on a board or in the app.

Made a mistake. It’s a CRV. But yes I found a button to disable.

I've posted previously in this thread about my experiences renting Teslas. Reserved another Tesla Model 3 from Avis at LAX, but they didn't have one available at pickup! In the app, the assigned me a crap Chevy Malibu instead. No discount, which was ridiculous - something like that was...

Just completed another Avis Tesla Model 3 rental, this time from LAX. A few differences from my experience at SFO (reviews earlier in this thread). When I picked up the vehicle, charge was only at 29% with 5627 miles on it. I returned it at 5697 miles with 83% charge. The drop off agent said...

Yes, I can confirm I successfully did that with an Avis Model 3 rental. The provided key card lets you add additional keys (but not a phone key).

Since Avis doesn't apparently have an advantage anymore of included supercharging, which company would people on this group recommend for a Tesla rental next month from LAX? Would also be interested in comments regarding the general rental and return process at LAX - i.e. if one company has a...

It always is. That said, I'm now sold on the advantages of renting a familiar vehicle, especially one I can customize with my preferred settings in a few minutes. As long as the pricing is not wildly different than an ICE, I'll be looking for Tesla rentals when I travel from now on.

Avis has now officially updated their web site to address Supercharger fees:

Post-rental update. Well, unfortunately, the hope of free supercharging from Avis did not last. 11 days after my rental end, my credit card was charged twice, once for $32.64, and once for $71.40. My Avis invoice also updated with a new total price including these two charges, although there...

How soon did Hertz supercharging charges show up on your credit card? At the same time you charged? All at once when you returned the vehicle? Or sometime after the return?

End-of-rental update. Drove 800+ miles and returned at 85%. E-mailed receipt is the expected amount for the week ($415). Supercharged several times, and likely incurred some idle fees a couple times (the on screen estimates of charging time were not always accurate - despite returning to the...

Mid-rental update. 2023 M3SR with 1900 miles and 74% charge came only with a key card, but I brought my own key fob, and was able to pair it without any issue. Very convenient. Unfortunately, no way to add mobile access. Also, glove box is protected with a PIN, so no access to that, but...

For next week, San Francisco $415 for a full week, for a "Telsa Short Range Model 3 or similar". The LR Model 3 is $483. The "you will be able to access Tesla Superchargers to recharge Tesla vehicles without any cost to you" was on the main Avis page, not anything to do with Costco. I'll...

Did Avis eventually bill you for your Supercharging sessions? Their web page (which may be in error) seems to suggest it may be included in your rental charges.
