    Canada - FSD rollout

More to the point, FSD Beta is the Tesla mini game where we see who's willing to have the least amount of fun driving their car.

    Canada - FSD rollout

Further to put things into context, with my drive to work this morning, I tapped my brakes once throughout the entire trip. I was going down a hill @ 30kph and full regen wasn't enough to stop the car at a stop sign. I still got dinged 1.1% for hard braking for the trip.

    Canada - FSD rollout

It feels like there's no way in hell if you are driving within the city limits that you can get a perfect 100. Hard braking is basically: do I run the red light or am I forced to use my brakes? 😅

    Canada - FSD rollout

I've read you can but mixed reports on whether you get your radar back or not.

    Canada - FSD rollout

My car is downloading the 2022.4.5.4 software update. Debating if I really want to hit the button or not.

Looks like 2021.44.30 enables Live Sentry Mode in Canada?

That's pretty impressive given the outdoor temperatures these days as well.

I assume you have premium connectivity as well? (but it should show up in the change log regardless)

    Supercharger - Richmond, BC

I think Ironwood Mall or the Michael's/Tim's/Golf Town lot would be most logical places to put one in.

EV tax write-off: can it be spread over multiple years?

This is incorrect. Not only must the car be purchased in the name of the company in question (or in the person's name who's generating business income), but the business must prove to CRA that it is using it for business generating purposes. You also have to remember when you get audited, it's...

EV tax write-off: can it be spread over multiple years?

When dealing with less than 100% business use cases, you will always need to keep a mileage log of every KM you drive in your car, otherwise there's a chance CRA may reject to all your car related deductions. So if you go to the grocery story, you have mark that down as personal mileage (start...

Tesla recommends cleaning and lubricating all brake calipers every 12 months or 20,000 km

Just to add another data point: I dropped my car at Vancouver Tesla Service Centre a couple days ago and they charged me $122 to service my performance brakes.
