    Roadster 3.0

The original MSRP for the Roadster was the price of 5 Priuses, Prii, Priem, Pri... what's one more Prius?

    Youngest Model S Owner/First Car?

We're the crazy ones. Either the ones that bought Tesla before anyone knew if they were going to last more than a few years OR owners like me that preferred a used roadster over a new Model S for the same price. The roadster actually reminds me a lot of a 21st century Shelby Cobra. A spirited...

    Youngest Model S Owner/First Car?

Good for you! My first car was my mom's 1985 Chevy Caprice Estate Station Wagon. Nine seatbelts, sat twenty almost comfortably. Great for going to high school football games! Your story reminds me of my friend's father. His parents were pretty well off real estate developers, so on his 16th...

    Wiper fluid/sprayer issue

How much vinegar did you add to the system? With the help of a chopstick for stirring, a turkey baster and empty boba tea cup, I found the problem. Algae... sucked most of it out, ran some vinegar through the system, filled up again with wiper fluid. I will continue to monitor the system.

    Wiper fluid/sprayer issue

I just bought the car last week, but it does look like a thick atomic blue fluid, which makes me thick antifreeze + washer fluid. Any paint concerns with running vinegar through the system?

    Wiper fluid/sprayer issue

I'm having a bit of trouble with my wiper fluid sprayers. The reservoir is full and I hear the motor going when I pull the wiper stalk, but no fluid through the nozzles. I read this previous thread and covered my nozzles while my gf pulled the wiper stalk. Windscreen/windshield squirter reboot...

What did you park next to? (Or what makes the Roadster look tiny?)

Those are the original dealer installed side pipes from 1965. They were so burnt out. I ended up replacing them with Sweet Thunder side pipes a couple years ago. A much better sound at a low enough volume I can still enjoy driving it.

What did you park next to? (Or what makes the Roadster look tiny?)

Haha! You're right, a white C1 does look like a bar of soap.

Bar of soap?! I'll get a side by side with my roadster soon, but I don't think my C2 looks like a bar of soap?

Desert Heat and My Poor Roadster

May be a dumb question, but where is that overhead screenshot with temperatures and PSI readings from?

    Thanks for all the help!

Yes, it does. I visually confirmed both sway bars and the shocks are there. I also just read the thread of adjusting the suspension, great info: Adjusting the adjustable suspension

Tips for new buyer of used roadster

I suggest pulling the battery logs off any car you are seriously considering. All it takes in 15 minutes, a small USB stick and the parser app shared on this forum. Here's a recent thread discussing it. I am thinking of buying a Roadster - What should I look for?

    Thanks for all the help!

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum for all the helpful info and answers to stupid questions. DMV made it official this morning, I'm now the proud owner of #914! Now come the hard choices: Do I change my username? What should I personalize the license plate? (What plate do you...

    Does anybody recognize this Roadster?

It even uses the same copy from the eBay listing. Definitely a cut and paste scam.
