Are you sure bumper wasn't painted from factory? You should have email from tesla with ordered parts by paint shop for your car. In my case part (fender) was already e-coated

I can't tell by the photo - If there is only scratch you are lucky they (certified PS) will not change it (at least they should not). But if there is a dent - it will probably cost around 3K$ (based on CA prices which I got)

And one more thing. I'm confused by all this situation as well because while insurance issued first check - manager told me that this is my responsibility to control amount of work which paint shop do...

Month ago I finally got my car back. But today received a copy of conversation between tesla insurance and "official"-y fraud body shop. Body shop requested additional +1K$ check from insurance - and they give it to them. WHAT THE HELL? IS IT EVEN LEGAL?

I had same "reset" too - better write email to finance and your delivery center (both). Mine was fixed by finance

"vin" which goes after "showDetailsInSelfInsuranceForm" is the one which all of you guys are waiting? If it got serial number instead of null that's good news - right?
