That’s what we did with our 400 amp service. 2 200 amp breaker panels. Only one is on the Powerwalls and gateway. The other acts as a grid-tie panel. Works fine. We really don’t need everything backed up.

I’ve got a UPS for our main bit of network gear. The router and main switch. The Fios ONT has it’s own. Everything else hasn’t had an issue as far as I know.

We finally had a legit power outage the other week for a little over an hour. First one since PTO. We weren’t home for it. :( I know I’m not the only one here hoping for an extended outage. :p

I have. Currently the only thing that gets cranky is our current router, a Unifi USG-3, so it’s on a small Eaton UPS.
