I changed my order from RWD to AWD on May 17. Not much happened for awhile. But this evening a VIN showed up: 197xxx, EDD May 28-31. I can't believe how quickly this is happening! Red with white interior, 19" wheels, 5 seat, FSD. Sonoma County

Your unrequested migration to AWD is the only one I've heard of. My LR RWD order is still intact.

That text message sounds like it came from a misinformed or rogue sales advisor. If there was any truth to it, this thread would be overwhelmed with "me too" responses, mine included. I have not received any such communication from Tesla.

Is it true that Carvana does the least inspection? My trade-in is in excellent condition but is missing its charge cord and second key fob.

Overseas orders have no bearing on the Model Y. The Y's built in Fremont are only sold in North America.

One possibility: Tesla is shutting down some of their AWD production in order to start producing the RWD. This timeframe would jibe with when Musk stated "several months" for the start of RWD production.

That's kinda scary that Tesla would secretly mark an order ineligible without telling the customer!

Where do you see the eligible/ineligible designation? I can't find it in my Tesla account.
