Apart from a couple of reboots and a repush of the firmware there has been no fix on this for me. My Frunk seems to have jammed though and there is a Bulletin against it to get it fixed so when I take the car in I'll talk to a real person about it

Just had a tech from Tesla suggest "Gateway reboot" by changing the language of the display and then changing it back again. No joy, so now waiting on a firmware update. It's weird not having indicator clicks

Yes, although it is the speakers, in my Model S after the update, the GPS and indicator noise only comes from the centre speaker not the doors and is very quiet for the GPS and barely audible for the indicators. I've raised a service request.

Interesting, mine is the other way up, sounds like it is coming from the centre of the windscreen

Mine used to come from the speakers around the driver so it was less disturbing for the passengers, now it is just one speaker and not loud enough :(

I've just found this thread, I have the same problem, what's worse is the indicator ticking seems to no longer be working or be REALLY quiet on the centre speaker. I've raised a service request to see if they have an answer. Radio and Bluetooth seem unaffected.

Thanks for the responses, when I got the S one month older saved me on luxury car tax, but still just got me the AP2 and Unlimited supercharging. Am I right in thinking that the dechroming is the tell tell marker for the current generation of kit or are there some variations in the dechromed...

I'm looking to replace my S with a 3, I'd love a new S but they aren't coming soon. When I got my S it at a sweet spot, AP2, free supercharging, no luxury car tax. Is there a sweet spot on buying a 3, bigger battery is on Wiki but I can't find much out about that, is there any cut off date...

Just a quick update. Stayed at the Glenridding Hotel and they had a 11KW Zappi and no other electric car guests.... Nice to top off every night. I can recommend the Hotel
