I figured this out on my own, low has no shutter but standard and higher almost always shutters during strong acceleration. My question is, is there any safety reason for trying to get rid of the shutter?

I agree, it seems to be getting worse, not better. I'm already using "mad max" for lane changes but it seems more like "yellow mellow" to me. I always have to hit the accelerator now to keep up with the ICE vehicles!

Yes, this is what I've noticed over the last 3 months. AP1 will get a revision, followed by AP2, followed by AP1, etc. However, the 8.1 seems to have been rolled out at about the same time for both AP1s and AP2s. I got 8.1.17.11.10 during last week's update for my MX 90D with AP2.
