One cool thing with Tesla insurance is teenagers are are priced no different. We have a non Tesla car with 2 teenagers. Savings was huge versus State Farm.

It can be hard to get a 100 the first month, until you learn what dings the most. Tailgating and slamming on the brakes for a yellow light are the ones to be careful of. Acceleration doesn't count against you. You can floor it all you want.

This is normal. We have a 2019 M3 and MY. The car will make all kinds of noises during updates. Also can make noises when parked. Unlike a gas car, your Tesla is monitoring and doing things even when parked.

While insurance is hard to compare from one person to another, in Illinois Tesla insurance has been super. Was with State Farm, and Tesla cut our insurance by around 60% and we upped liability coverage. This is for full coverage.
