Just brought my late '17 X to a service center to have the screen replaced because of the yellow stripe and to take care of a few other issues with the car. They pushed back pretty hard on replacing the screen saying that an MCU screen without this issue should be available summer 2019. I assume...

Recirculated air does not go through the filter. Particles smaller than pollen (ultrafine particles emitted by trucks, for instance) are scrubbed out by the filter, so I would suggest running Bio-mode when your allergies are acting up.

My early 74*** X75D went into production yesterday. My DS wanted to deliver the car around the second week of December, but we pushed it back until December 30th since we'll be out of town. Hoping we can actually get it in 2017.

Yes, I got my VIN on 10/15. The day after I posted wondering when I would get it. I was just a bit too impatient. It is a 2017 VIN, 74***

No VIN yet. DS thinks the car will go into production late November.

Let's hope my wait is a bit shorter than yours ;) I am actually hoping to delay the car until January (just to say its a "2018" Model X), so I was just curious if there may be something interesting happening on the production side since there seems to be a bit of delay in handing out VINs.

Are you in the US? Do you know the code for your battery option (like BTX5/BTX7)? Calibration might be off, but that seems like a lot. You could always check the sticker on the battery. Please share if you do :)

I heard 1.49% for Q4 when Tesla called today to try to convince me to switch from a custom order to an inventory vehicle.
