i don’t see a screw in the middle of this connector on the Y. We took the housing off the plug to remove any issues with moulding but it just wouldn’t go down far enough to seat and click into place. We ordered an extension to hopefully connect and extend the connection since it was a close stretch.

Don’t need an adapter, trailer is 7 pin, car is 7 pin. It just doesn’t go in far enough like it bottoms out before it snaps in

My model came with a 7 pin outlet but my plug wouldn’t go in far enough to connect. It’s like it bottoms out before it makes the connection. We tried more than one but it still didn’t work. Headed to service center on Friday for diagnosing.

So you have a wiring harness but use the photresisters to detect power on taillights, intergrating it with your wiring harness? I’m really interested in what you did for trailer lights?

I am on 36.5.1 and have the safety score limiter that will only get me beta when I’m in the safety rating to enable it and they decide I’m safe enough 😔. I don’t have fad beta just the button to request it.

Can you provide a parts breakdown on this And photos or drawings? I like this much better than jacking with my wiring for occasional use. Thanks for a brilliant idea. E trailer wants $300 for a harness!

I’m confused that I’m still on 36.5.1 , FSD, beta tester and my daughter is on 40.6 without FSD. I called Tesla support and they said I was up to date? I don’t have sentry video new features or waypoints? How can I be up to date?
