    I’ve never understood why in a Model S (and presumably the X) the driver display (not the main screen) remains on ALL NIGHT even in camp mode. It wastes electricity and shines unwanted light through the cabin. I cover mine with a towel, but it’s likely an easy fix for them.

    I can confirm the CCS adapter works on a 2021 PRE-refresh Model S. I received mine on Thursday and tested it on Friday.

    As I understand it, after a certain date, Teslas were built with the necessary hardware to use an upcoming CSS adapter (I have a 2021 per-refresh Model S and it has adapter support). This allows the adapter to be cheaper ($200-$250 according to rumors). For those cars that don’t have adapter...

    Yes, that’s what that means. I’ve heard a retrofit will be available at some point though.
