Ontario overnight ultra low rate announced

For sure it is more of a convenience thing except in the heart of winter. Could get away with every other day charging in the winter but I like to use house power to get the cars up to temperature in the mornings and both cars are driven. In the summer we just plug in as needed which is once a...

Ontario overnight ultra low rate announced

I am sure you have considered alternatives but just to give you my own experience with the same situation as you. I started with one Tesla and added a second one later. I had a Gen2 Wall connector on 50A breaker and a 6-50 receptacle also on a 50A breaker. Both were fed from sub-panel with 60A...

Is Tesla Canada changing their loaner policy?

Two service sessions in Ottawa (Carling) in the past month for my out of warranty X and was offered loaners (model 3) each time. First service was for installing CCS adaptor and second one was to replace failed A/C compressor. The compressor replacement took a long time because the tech broke...

Anybody try Sailun E-range tires for Model X?

The Sailun's are installed and I have been driving with them for a few days in a real mixed bag of weather. Lots of rain and fairly cold. Due to the fluctuating weather I don't have enough data to compare efficiencies yet but the rain handling and stoppage has been great. Tested out a low speed...

Anybody try Sailun E-range tires for Model X?

I am having these installed on May 1st as well. These will be my summer only tires as the winters on on their own rims. I will see if the efficiency is any better and report back after a couple of weeks (data collected via Teslamate)

Anybody try Sailun E-range tires for Model X?

Do you mind sharing which installer gave the $1200 installed price. I just got a quote here in Ottawa for over $1500 for the same tires on my X. I am really interested in trying these tires for the summer season.

Downtown Montreal hotel bonus feature for Tesla owners!

I used the valet service in January 2023 for a 2 week south vacation and was pleasantry surprised with them due to all the negative reviews online. We got there in a snowstorm at 5:00 am and saw them turning cars away from the the gate due to lot being full. The attendant came over and asked if...

    Tesla Supercharger Voting page

I feel the same. I did submit Renfrew in as a suggested site. Used the Canadian Tire address in Renfrew :)

    PPF and Ceramic Coating

Ceramic coating is not intended to protect form physical damage. It is a nano coating that binds to the surface. Think of it as a replacement for periodic waxing. Gives the surface a nice deep shine, beads water and the protection from UV damage. It will not help at all with stone chips - that...

    Supercharger - Kemptville Ontario

I recorded a 252kW charge on my model Y in August right after the station opened so it is capable of full speed charging.

    Canada - FSD rollout

Update - Finally getting it FSD Beta for the first time on my 2017 Model X!!!! It turns out that the culprit was not having enough AP km in the last 30 days. I thought that I did but my wife has been driving it lately and does not typically use AP. The last road trips have been in the model Y...

    Canada - FSD rollout

I am not sure if anyone knows this with any certainty but I would assume that it is a sliding 30 day window so the mileage would only be counted for the last 30 days. That is also what is shown in app for the distance driven summary under the safety score.

    Canada - FSD rollout

Question for long term users about FSD beta on 2-lane highways - is it limited to 10km/h over speed limit like AP or can the speed be set higher when using FSD Beta? For example Highways such as hwy 7 and 17 in Ontario that have 80 km/h and 90 km/h speed limits respectively. I will go try it...

    Canada - FSD rollout

Yes - finally! Got it on one of our cars: 2022 model Y LR that was on 2022.20.8 with safety score of 96. It showed up this morning for download. Unfortunately I am still waiting for it on 2017 Model X 75D (safety score 97 at 2022.20.9). This car has all the hardware needed including the...

    Supercharger - Madoc, ON

Just wondering if anyone went through Madoc this past weekend that can share if there was any progress?
