It’s funny I was going to sell my chademo adapter as the price of used ones has gone uts since they have been discontinued and wait tk buy a CCS Glad I didn’t as the weather is cold here and there are tons of chademos around so don’t want to go through a winter without other dc charging...

    My PPF experience

If only it was that simple… I am on my 2nd model 3. You will see chips within weeks without PPF If you don’t care then no problem but it is not due to driving close to people

    Canadian CHAdeMO charging

Has anyone had billing problems with Petro Canada? I charged for 21 minutes in Kingston , my bill said 0kwh and I was charged $18. Have tried calling 3x. Just on hold forever and the system hangs up. I charged again in Brockville 17 min 13.8 kwh $5.73 so hopefully the Kingston was a one off...

    CCS Adapter for North America

I agree… I do work for a few Nissan dealers and one had 2 with fried inverters because of a faulty Chademo station. No warranty coverage. Spoke to a friend who is at tesla and the software checks everything before allowing charging…it is more complex then Nissan.

    Tesla Low Trade-in Value

They can’t sell a Canadian Tesla to the US… But the car is probably worth 40k and they want the sale, unlike Tesla that doesn’t care lol

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

Buying and selling a new car after 2 yrs is not a great idea, first off you are looking at a 15% sales tax lost right away. Financing is set up for a longer term and is not flexible.

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

No sell in the same province all good. But the reality is all the leases and financing are designed for 5yrs plus, even up to 8yrs so buying new and selling in 2 yrs will be costly.

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

In less then 4 yrs, I believe it is 2k per year

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

Not sure about the federal but the provincial have to be repaid if you sell it out of province

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

Lol no chance I have an SR plus, if your car sits at -30 all day and you have to drive home 100km after driving 100km there and you get traffic it could be challenging. You need at least a 110v plug at work or an indoor parking spot

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

That’s not a problem it can be redone as a finance… Your only other option is to buy a used one as you don’t qualify for rebates Personally I think doing 50000 km a year on a commute in a Tesla is a waste of money just buy something cheaper but that’s just me

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

If you have strong credit and are starting a job with a good salary I have a lease from a private leasing company on my 2020 SR+ and may be looking for someone to take over my lease as I am looking into buying an S. SR+ in grey with 19” wheels Full front and rocker PPF. Upgraded audio (focal...

Quebec and Federal Incentives - When moving to Canada, when can I order?

They do send you a cheque but you get a « releve » form . I am pretty sure you need to be a Quebec resident paying taxes here. If the car is transferred out of Quebec in the first 4 yrs you are responsible to pay back the rebate (at a prorated rate). It takes a couple of months to get the...
