I need to transport some wood and it's nice to know the dimensions I can carry in the Model S. I have some large projects coming up around the home including kitchen cabinets, a bench seat, and a storage bed. I took rough measurements and figured I could carry 6'x3' (sorry metric folk) sheets...

I've heard that Musk is on the board of a battery technology company. Does anybody know what that company may be? I think it would be interesting to discuss the technology those companies are developing.

Two days ago I went to San Francisco and back for about 80 mile round trip. I saw 12!!! Model S' along the way!

I, too, noticed it after about a month which would be about 1000 miles or so. Maybe the gears were breaking in and now the oil needs to be changed out? Total guess on my part.

I updated to the latest 4.3 Saturday at the scheduled 2:00AM time. During the day Saturday my drivers door auto opened after I put it in park and the handles presented themselves. Did that twice Saturday. Possible software related? Or just a co-incidence. I've had my car since early November.

The wiper sensitivity was vastly improved from 4.1 to 4.2. They can still improve it some more and in time I'm sure it will improve. If you haven't already politely log your improvement request with them and I'm sure they'll work on it.

What a Sunday. Great sunny NorCal day to drive my Sig Red Perf. I saw a grey one on 85 south looking real good from behind all hunkered down. Then an hour later saw a white one in Los Gatos on Blossom Hill. And 30 minutes later a silver one in the same area on Los Gatos Blvd.

I still have the original software version and I noticed the wagging when flooring it on declining freeway on-ramps. Once I even chirped my tires when going 75 and flooring it.

Not really a production Model S but I just spotted it in a picture in the background of this video around the 1:36 mark I know Mike Maloney has is getting one if he hasn't already. He had a roadster till it got in an accident.
