Yup. I got all the forms from the company I used. Agreed. I managed to find a company that sold me the wall connector as well and so i didn't have to wait for Tesla to ship it. Thanks garretdigital too!

Wow, the rebate is running out in 6 weeks? that really sucks. I was in the same boat in May and decided not to wait for AWD after talking to the Tesla rep. Ended up getting my RWD within 4 weeks after configuring...

Tesla doesn't do the application for the rebate for you until you have a VIN (the application form requires it). If you get your VIN in the summer, then you may still be able to squeak in. If you are not getting a VIN until the fall, i'm not sure if there'll be rebate left.

Tell me about it. I got 2k estimate which is even lower than scrap metal. Decided not to do trade in and so will pick up car on June 9th at the PNE! Might see some of you there!
