I typically buy new, and if I like the car, I'll keep it for a long time, 10+ years and over 150k miles has been the case with about half the cars I bought new.

Want a vehicle that will require tens of thousands of dollars in repairs before hitting 150k miles, buy the BMW. I'm also hoping that the new Model 3 will at least match the M3 Comp from 100 - 200KPH.

I hope you're right. If Tesla does that, it would put the M3P back in the same position it was in when it first came out in 2018 relative to the competition. I think the M3P is the main reason that the competition stepped up their game so much over the last 4 or 5 years.
