PEOPLE!!! Doesn't need any hocus-pocus...just wait, and drive a bit, and the button will appear!!! All the stuff you are doing is NOT needed....but I've found that it can be activated by reading a good book, mowing the lawn, or simply contemplating your navel....

I did find a fix. And this thread comes from the same issue you had...when switching from an S to a 3. Tesla won't give out the Tesla login info, so you can't log in on a computer and set things up, and you have to go through the hack described in another thread, using a PC to load modified...

Now with Spotify, and with the Slacker hack no longer working that gave me my Custom Stations, I want to revert back to the Tesla account and dump my personal one - how do I do that? I don't have login info the the Tesla account that came with the car (they won't give it out if you ask)?

Custom station on slacker recently stopped loading (maybe a firmware release or two ago, there have been a bunch of new releases)...just get the spinning wheel and never plays....any thoughts? Maybe it also had something to do with the transition from "Slacker" to "LiveXLive"? My custom...

Look up this thread a ways and you’ll see how to pry up the side molding slightly and make a space for the cable to pass and be hidden

Mine only falls off once every few months, when it is hot out....so I haven't even put on the new suction cup yet. There is a little video no their site showing how to get the old one off, FYI... -s

Re the suction cup - a new, improved one is available: Suction Cup Mount - Replacement Pad They said this fixes any that don't stick...we'll see. $12, shipped.

They do peel off, not pull off....I've sent a note to Xvida asking if there is a better way to keep them mounted in hot cars...will let all know when I get a reply.

Mine has fallen twice in a year...I think it isn't the adhesive, which isn't what holds it on - it is the vacuum from the suction mount. When the sun shines directly on the mount it makes the air inside expand, which cancels out the vacuum, and thus, the suction.

I think it is the sudden drop that get to folks - it was to me. And surely some of those drops are actually battery issues...I lost 15 miles (down to 290) essentially overnight, a few weeks after getting the car....the quick "charge to 100% and then let it go down really low a few times" thing...

Wheel bands. easy to apply, easy to repair. Had them 4 years on my S and now on my 3. go directly to wheel bands company and they will sell you a whole second kit cheaply to use for repairs...

Finally got the pieces together...it is like magic! Custom station is secured! thanks for the tip!!!

brad's - the answer turned out to be simple...the mount does swivel up to about 15 degrees after installation, when the weight of the phone is on it...so just flip up the lever and rotate it about 15 degrees above vertical...then lock it in...and when the phone is on it it now is level...
