Took delivery yesterday afternoon. Seems to be a one minor paint blemish (5mm diameter), and the dash has a few ripples in it. Nothing else.

My account overview screen now says "2021 Tesla Model Y" instead of just "Tesla Model Y", but my overview screen has a "Confirm Your Order Update" about Tesla Vision click-through. Is this normal? I don't remember hearing about it.

We just got a text from TESLA asking us to confirm we want to take delivery in September. No VIN, EDD change or anything. I don't remember hearing about this one.

I didn't get my white/white VIN either. I think the only config difference is 19" vs 20" wheels. Although... my EDD did move forward by a week 9/21-9/30

I don't necessarily feel like Austin going online is going to help us that much. Everything has pointed to global supply issues... being able to manufacture more cars at a time doesn't help if you don't have the parts to build them with.

I got the shift too, though not as bad. From 9/20-9/30 to 9/28-9/30. That's an oddly narrow range that seems really out of character. After being promised EQ2, I'm laughing at the fact that I probably won't get EQ3 either.

Probably better to take it and resell it? Which impatient person would rather spend an extra few thousand than wait 6 months. I'm sure you could find more than a few. Either that or drive the MYP until you get the MYLR and then sell the MYP for a profit.

We are 1000 miles out from having to do a major, really expensive service on a car that we were hoping to limit the miles on with our MYLR. We drive a lot, and will eat that up that 1000 in just a few weeks. Not to mention that car drinks gas and takes premium. If we had the MYLR by our promised...
