    Screens go black when supercharging

My 2016 X with MCU 2 spontaneously *rebooted* (after going dark the tesla logo appeared, HVAC freaked out, and systems came back on gradually) while supercharging on two separate occasions a couple weeks ago. Not the same thing as just going dark I realize, but I wonder if something about...

    Error code RCM_d074

No change, in fact last week I saw this error a couple times for both the right *and* left sides. I have a feeling when a Tesla service center says "it's a known issue, it will be fixed in a future firmware update", it means "this service center has never seen this before and we're hoping we...

Not Available Signature Model X - SF Bay Area

Since people asked, here a couple more details: Car has been garaged, paint is in excellent condition. No dings or chips bigger than a pencil eraser. 55k miles, almost half of that road trips, so not hard miles. MCU2 upgrade has been performed 100% charge still shows 222 rated-miles of range...

Not Available Signature Model X - SF Bay Area

Signature X. If you know, you know. I'm offering this up to the TMC community first because folks here might understand the uniqueness of this particular car. Car will change hands last week of December, one way or another. If I get no action here I'll dump it at a dealer. If lots of people PM...

Mobile connector button isn't opening charge port anymore?

My wall charger has about a 33% success rate. I usually end up mashing the actual charge port door (which works first time every time) instead of waiting for the car to get around to honoring the nozzle-button-press

Is it possible to import a North American Model X into the Netherlands

Thanks everyone! Definitely sounds like I should not attempt this. It's not so much a matter of dealing with the paperwork, it's that the car itself won't function properly when it gets there. Thank you for helping me avoid a lot of frustration!

Is it possible to import a North American Model X into the Netherlands

Where can I read about importing a North American Tesla? I have read https://www.rdw.nl/over-rdw/information-in-english/private/import/apply-for-dutch-license-number-for-non-eu-or-non-efta-country-vehicle and...

Anyone know what kind of floor mat this is?

I can't even figure out these anchor things (see photo) that the holes in the mat hook over to prevent the driver from scooting it forward. I think if I can remove these hooks from the carpet, I would just go with some regular mats that used the normal big velcro circles. But I can't think of a...

Active Spoiler - transplant from older X? Will software see it? Ideas?

Either you want to look like an Audi A7 or you don't. If you want to own a Model X, embrace the always-up spoiler. Or buy a very old X from the days when when they got the retractable feature right. Not optimistic for new cars. To get it to to work you would have to hack the software, and most...

Anyone know what kind of floor mat this is?

Doesn't seem to have a name. Vinyl I think. I have it in my X and it's awesome just not sure what it's called.

    Signature Model X MCU2 Upgrade issues 5/2/22

Something like this happened on my Sig X MCU2 upgrade. I was able to resolve it with a phone call to a live person who did something over the air. But yeah, definitely wasn't 100% ready when they returned the car to me.

Paint chipping on hatch, should it be fixed?

Ok maybe bulging is not the exact word, but it did seem from one of the photos some metal got deformed a bit somehow Anyway it's probably manageable, fingers crossed. If you discover anything newsworthy along the way, be sure to report back.

Paint chipping on hatch, should it be fixed?

There are lots of folks on this forum that will be much more knowledgeable and supportive than me, but my take is, this is going to be a bit of a problem for you. The hinge side of the lift gate is the place where big forces come in to play and the impact of even a small misalignment will be...
