Am I wrong in wishing FSD Beta had a lane change confirmation option like NOA?

Even if they don't add the confirmation (which I would appreciate) they should indicate upcoming lane changes similarly to NoA (although I don't really love the way NoA does it-- you have to catch the visual at the right time)

Smart Summon Drove My Model Y Into A Tree - July 2021

I took this picture a few weeks ago, it seems relevant today. There is only one feature on this list that isn't in beta or preview status: Personally I think it is kinda scummy of them to keep hiding behind these "beta" labels for so long. The software is clearly feature-complete and in...

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

There are other players in the self-driving space that are completely throwing out a human-coded policy/planning layer and going full end-to-end machine learning (video of driving in, action of driving out). For systems like this, it doesn't even need to perceive and segment everything in the...

Tesla releases big, new software update with Disney+, Car Wash Mode, remain connected to wifi, and more - 2021.24.x

The size of the "button" to open the frunk is smaller now. The tap target used to encompass the entire front of the car, but today I had to touch the actual "open frunk" lettering.

FSD Beta Videos (and questions for FSD Beta drivers)

@Chazman92 Something I'm really curious about is the behavior exiting long offramps. I know the highway code is supposed to be the same as in production firmware, but I'm curious if it slows down any differently. On prod builds, NoA moves the set-speed down in 5mph increments, so the car slows...

Tesla releases big, new software update with Disney+, Car Wash Mode, remain connected to wifi, and more - 2021.24.x

There are still aspects of the feature that are useful for at-home washing. eg keeping the charge port closed.

Elon: auto shift will come to all Tesla cars with FSD

FWIW, the setting that controls HOV lane behavior is under the navigation settings, not under NoA settings.

Spotify HiFi / Apple Music / USB / Best Quality?

I use TeslaUSB, which runs on a Raspberry Pi. It emulates a USB drive, but can also be configured to automatically pull music from a shared drive on your network. It also automatically uploads saved TeslaCam footage.

Autopilot resume speed after changing lanes.

Keep an eye on the little set speed circle, it should indicate what the set speed is going to be once engaged.

Autopilot resume speed after changing lanes.

I've found that it uses your desired speedlimit+offset OR your current speed, whichever one is higher. In other words it should never slow down after you re-activate, only speed up :)

Model 3 rolling away on door opening?

If the car is in hold mode, in D, and parked on a backwards-facing incline, brushing the accelerator enough to disable the brakes but not accelerate forward does NOT result in the car rolling backwards-- the motor will hold the car on the incline until the brakes come back on or the driver...
