    Jaguar I-Pace

Certainly in my case. I will hardly ever use public charging and when I do I will make sure and have enough time. The same EV isn't the perfect fit for everyone and they all have their pluses and minuses.

    Jaguar I-Pace

This could well be the case. I did hear it somewhere a long time ago and I'm happy to go along with your version of it and admit I picked it up wrong.

That is actual chargers and not just locations. I agree that the Supercharger network is superior for speed and ease of use currently. I would say CCS is easier to find but more fragmented and often needing more effort. I'm sure your experience will change for the better as the I-Pace has a...

    Jaguar I-Pace

That's 5 that will be live within a "few" months. That's a big difference from 63 live in a month in a place the size of the UK. I don't use public charging very often but Instavolt is, tap card and plug-in. I think most of the new ones will work that way. The biggest hindrance for I-Pace...

    Jaguar I-Pace

Yes, It's well documented that the Model S was originally designed to be able to take an engine. It was just my reply to someone who couldn't understand why the I-Pace has a small "frunk". I couldn't really tell much difference between Dynamic and Comfort when I first got the car. Now after 12...

    Jaguar I-Pace

You don't drive an iPhone! :D We all have great valid reasons as to how we justify our purchase. There is as much love for the I-Pace with its owners (including ex Tesla owners) as there is with Tesla owners for their cars. The reason for the small "frunk" is because the I-Pace was designed...

    Jaguar I-Pace

The I-Pace is serine limo, planted, with sporty handling and steering. I would describe the I-Pace to be more like a luxury model Y. The screen is excellent and maps have "Google world view" if you desire. The nav probably hasn't all the Tesla features but it does show up a list of chargers as...

    Jaguar I-Pace

You have to remember that going straight to dynamic mode with that power will be far more power hungry than your old Leaf :D There are people on the Jaguar forum expecting to manage 300 miles per full charge (S with 18" wheels,pre-heating etc) in the Summer without hypermiling. If I was a...

... And yes, the I-Pace has OTA updates. Anything else?

    Jaguar I-Pace

I first came joined here around the time of ordering the Tesla model 3 to keep up with everything. I had followed the S and X up until then. This part of the forum is called Jaguar I-Pace in the general part of the forum. I moved to this part when I became interested in the I-Pace after seeing a...

    Jaguar I-Pace

I'm a long time Tesla fan and if there was no I-Pace I wouldn't be driving a Jaguar. ;)

    Jaguar I-Pace

I accept Tesla has a better consumption all things considered but it's not by a massive amount in the same environment and that isn't the most important thing in my case. If it was I would have got another 650mile per tank Deisel. The Model X performance is around double the cost and is an...

    Jaguar I-Pace

I haven't had enough experience with Tesla autopilot to compare but... The I-Pace "autopilot" consists of Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist. It works well on roads with white lines on either side and feels dependable. Ideal for motorways. It won't change lanes when you indicate as...

    Jaguar I-Pace

I agree about the 3 phase charging and that would have made me think twice. The efficiency would be slightly better than a model X in day to day use. Tesla Bjorn did a range test with Model X, I-Pace and the E-Tron. The results were that the E-Tron was last, the I-Pace was best on "A" roads...
