That is just about as bad as the watersmart rebates from two years ago suggesting everyone rip out their lawns in support of conserving water. After paying out rebates, they decided to tax them as income.

Sounds about right :mad:. In terms of your earlier post about qualifying for the 2500 rebate, my understanding is that the $2500 is available to anyone under 300K filing joint, no? There is an increase on the rebate for low income buyers.

Looking at Denver so the rate I have found looks like 7.65%. Its 7.75 where I live in CA so its basically a wash.
