I recall quite bit of dissatisfaction when the Model 3 screen was changed resulting in a much larger area reserved for the left side, and a smaller area for the map (right side). I understood that Tesla was going to come out with an upgrade that would permit the owner to modify the proportions...

OK .... but will the update apply to "older" Model 3's?

My Model 3 is a 2018 AWD Dual Motor with Enhanced Auto Pilot and system 2.5. Will my car continue with its radar + cameras, or will there be a recall or something to disable the radar and enable all the cameras? Thanks.

I believe you are correct. It tells me that I'm home, and my destination is on the right.

Frequently, when I get in the car, the nav system will tell me "Your Destination is on the right", or something similar. This will happen even though I cancel the nav. I'm on 2021.4.12. I've tried rebooting the system, to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks.

Instead of a switch to turn the beeping on and off, why not simply tap your horn when your about to back out of a spot.

Please read Jason's reply, #5. He's right on the money. My BMW 5 series is nearly silent at idle, about 700 rpm. When backing out of a parking spot, the rpm's are probably no more than 725 rpm, and the engine is still silent.

Being a septuagenarian, I figured the only way I can be sure of getting a model 3 during my lifetime was to make my reservation as early as possible on March 31, and so I was around #60 at the Short Hills, NJ store. I figured if production is really delayed, I can offer my son my reservation...

Since my driveway in NJ is very steep, and I often go to my house in Vermont for skiing, I would consider the "basic" car to have dual motor and cold weather package.
