Thoughts on the Model Y so far

I know it will not be hitting these shores for some time, but what are people thinking of the Model Y so far. I think it looks great, a lot better than I thought it would. I still prefer the sleek look of the model 3 but for an SUV it is a very good effort, and for those needing the extra space...

Plug-in car Grant now £3000 (was £3500) for cars under £50k

£56,490 after destination & doc fee, and you still don't get frunk hooks included, LOL, they are extra!!!!!!! For that amount they should throw in FSD and performance boost

    March Budget 2020

Nothing mentions regarding any tax breaks on EV's or the current grant changing, just that there are plans for more charges across the UK. Unless I missed something.

I used to do it for Ford, back in the day when they did truly great cars, every now and again I would be sent on a train to pick up a cosworth, but most of the time it would be to pick up a big std focus or fiesta a probe (lol, remember them?), it was a pretty cool job at the time, cash in hand...

So if Tesla deliver the car to you, are you able to see how it was driven on that journey? I used to deliver new cars when I was a teenager, let’s just say I may have slightly gone over the speed limit once or twice

UK Budget 11 March 2020 - VAT Change?

I’m surprised they haven’t introduced a scrappage scheme like they did in 2010, 2 wins, gets old cars off the road to the crushers and gets people into electric. I still wake up at nights in a hot sweat of the thought of my Mitsubishi FTO being crushed in 2010, I’m sorry but my wife made me do...

Already thinking of swapping to a Model Y?

Just wondering how many model 3 owners are already thinking of a possible swap over to a model Y, when the Y hits the UK market we will all of a sudden see lots of model 3's in the 'Used' section on the Tesla website?

    Acceleration Boost £1.5k

Should you have to inform your insurance company, let’s say you were in an accident and they had the knowledge to know to look for this boost, and you failed to inform them, guess you would be screwed.
